Tragedy in Texas

A soldier flips out and uses his weapon to indiscrimately kill a bunch of people.

What makes this news? Big news? Front page, top of the broadcast, day after day news?

The fact that it happened in Texas, not Iraq or Afghanistan.

And the fact that the victims were US soldiers and not sleeping mothers and children.

Too bad that no one else will point this out.

Hey, Wagelaborer, great to see you still plugging along, doing your best to undo the programming!

I've had a few setbacks healthwise (an acute infection, etc) but still plugging along.

I'm writing again mainly to focus my mind on other things than the approaching radiology (in the New Year now), cancer, etc.

The Texas affair was very strange. I wonder how much we are being told.

Take care!

I think they should check out psychiatrists in general. First we hear the profession is instructing soldiers on how to induce the most stress while torturing, then that one in Bosnia instructing techniques of rape that are most effective in reducing enemy will, and now this nutbag. Heard one report that he had only one patient a week - being muslim is probably just incidental. Seems like bad doctors like bad priests (and most authority figures) are hard to get rid of.
