"The world you live in—your nation, your people—is not the world you were born in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring, the houses, the shops, the jobs, the mealtimes, the visits, the concerts, the cinema, the holidays. But the spirit, which you never noticed because you made the lifelong mistake of identifying it with the forms, is changed." My mother-in-law, an Irish Catholic living the USA, which means that her ancestors were forcibly converted to Catholicism at one point, and then starved into immigrating at another point, loved her religion. The only time she ever criticized it was when the Pope decided to allow priests to perform Mass in their own languages, instead of the language of the Roman Empire.
The idea of a Great Reset is not unprecedented. We are celebrating today the beginning of a Great Reset on this continent that started a few hundred years ago.
The New Normal for the survivors was completely different from the old normal, I think we can all agree.
The New Normal of feudalism was different for the tribes of Europe, and the New Normal of capitalism was completely different for the peasants thrown off their land and into the dark satanic mills of the infernal city.
Cheer up! Your kids won't know any differently and your descendants won't remember your travails.
