Visualize World War

Back in the old days, last century, the hippies used to have a saying "Visualize Peace", which caused great hilarity and ridicule.

What insanity is it to think that your beliefs can change reality? What were they smoking, ha, ha.

Well, here we are, new century, new millennium, new reality.

Now you can visualize yourself as the opposite sex, and the government will give you an official certificate making it so!

You can be a furry, you can think yourself rich, you can be whatever you manifest!

Meanwhile, the rulers visualize war. War in which the US always prevails.

Our weapons are the greatest and we never run out of ammo!

Our air defense is unbeatable! We never run out of that either!

We can take on China, Russia, Iran and North Korea at the same time, and kick all their assess and take their stuff!

We're going to build a Golden Dome over the entire US which will protect us from all missiles!

And straight from the horse's mouth: "In a few months, we will have more ammunition than any country has ever had. We will have more missiles than any country has ever had. We will have all the hypersonic missiles. We will have fast, slow, precise, and those that are slightly less precise. We will have it all."

OK, everyone is officially insane. If spending more money than any other country (We're Number One!) hasn't managed to produce enough 155mm missiles or Patriot interceptors to carry out proxy wars, how is upping the military budget going to improve that enough to actually engage in a war or four?

Not that I think we should start more wars because we can win, but it's the epitome of stupidity and/or insanity to start wars you can't possibly win.

How about living in peace instead? No profits in that? OK, I'll quit visualizing it.
